15 minutes

Serves:

2 dozen cookies

Matcha White Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, browned

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

1 & 2/3 cups flour (Works great with gluten-free flour!)

1 Tbsp Matcha Powder (More to taste)

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

3/4 tsp salt

5 oz white chocolate chips (More to taste)

Preparation

In a large bowl, combine browned butter, sugars, and egg. Stir well, until smooth.  In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients and mix well. Add dry ingredient mixture to wet a little at a time, mixing well with each addition, until a soft dough forms. Fold in white chocolate chips.

Refrigerate dough for an hour. Preheat oven to 350 degrees when it's time to bake the cookies.  Use a spoon to form cookie balls. Drop on an ungreased silicone cookie sheet, with an inch of space between. Bake for 15 minutes, or until done.

If using gluten-free flour, allow cookies to cool thoroughly before removing from the baking sheet.
