Pink Himalayan Salt - Coarse

Pink Himalayan Sea Salt is hand-mined from the Khewra Salt Mine in the Himalayan mountains of Pakistan. There, vast seas that existed 600 million years ago evaporated, leaving behind enormous salt deposits. Pink Himalayan is one of the purest natural salts available, at 98% sodium chloride.  Its distinctive pink color (from trace mineral inclusions of potassium, magnesium, calcium, and iron) makes it very hard to imitate!
 
Our coarse-grain salt is excellent in a grinder as a substitute for table salt. You can also use it anywhere in your cooking where salt is required. But this salt truly shines in dishes where it shows... toss it in a spinach salad with mozzarella balls and balsamic vinegar and watch the pink crystals sparkle! And definitely sprinkle it on your sea salt caramel truffles.
