Green Peppercorns are the same thing as our old friend black peppercorns, but are picked before the peppercorns fully mature. They're milder than black peppercorns and have a unique green, fruity flavor that is often called "piquant" by folks who know what "piquant" means. They complement poultry, vegetables, and seafood. They are also delicious in marinades and dressings. Grind them in your peppermill and add to spreadable soft cheeses like fresh goat cheese or cream cheese. Their bite is gentle and delightful!
