Ground Yellow Mustard Seed is the primary ingredient in, you guessed it, mustard! The kind you put on hot dogs! Homemade mustard is surprisingly simple to make.


You can also use ground mustard to flavor—and emulsify—homemade mayonnaise and Hollandaise sauce. Whisk it into salad dressings and butter sauces. Adding mustard to the fish and meats you cook is also interesting. Salmon, for example, can be crusted using dry mustard powder, salt, brown sugar and dill. Beef spice rubs, such as those containing paprika, rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper and dry mustard are delicious. Dry mustard can also be used on chicken and pork. The more you use ground mustard in your culinary explorations, the more you'll love it!
