Loaded Baked Potato Mashed Potatoes


2 pounds potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold) peeled and cut into quarters

2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced

1 tsp salt

1 cup milk

2 Tablespoons butter

1 Tablespoon Loaded Potato Seasoning (more to taste!)

Additional Salt and pepper to taste


Bring a large pot of water, with salt added, to a boil. Add potatoes and minced garlic, making sure water covers all the potatoes. Lower heat to medium-low and simmer 20 minutes or until potatoes are soft. When potatoes are almost ready, add milk, butter, and Loaded Potato Seasoning to a small saucepan. Stir and heat over low heat until butter is melted and seasoning is well blended. Taste, and feel free to add more seasoning if you like! Drain potatoes and return them to the pot. Slowly add milk mixture while mashing potatoes, until your desired consistency is reached! (Those who like ‘em chunky will mash by hand. Smooth fans can use an electric mixer to whip them fluffy!)
