Mulled Cider
Ingredients
1 gallon apple juice
¼ cup brandy or apple brandy, rum, spiced rum (optional, but delicious)
1 oz Inland Empire Spice's Spiced Wine & Cider Kit
Apple and orange slices
Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and warm on medium heat until the mixture almost reaches a simmer. Switch to low heat, cover, and allow to simmer covered for 2-3 hours. Strain the resulting mulled cider to remove bits of wet spices.
