Easy Five Spice Chicken
4 lbs chicken
1 bunch of Spinach
3 Large carrots, peeled and cut into 2 inch pieces
1 Tbsp Soy sauce or tamari
1 Tbsp Five Spice Powder
2 Tbsp Honey
1 tsp Garlic
1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp Olive oil
1 tsp Sea salt
Red pepper flakes
Chopped green onions
Preheat oven to 425°.
On a large rimmed sheet pan arrange spinach and carrots and drizzle with 2 Tbsp olive oil and 1 tsp sea salt.
In a small bowl mix together soy sauce, honey, five spice powder, garlic, and ¼ cup of olive oil. Place chicken in a large bowl, pour five spice marinade over, and toss until coated.
Place chicken in pan with vegetables and drizzle remaining marinade over veggies.
Bake for 35 minutes, for crispier veggies remove chicken and roast vegetables for an additional 10 minutes.
Top with red pepper flakes and chopped green onions.
