
Easy Five Spice Chicken

Ingredients
4 lbs chicken
1 bunch of Spinach
3 Large carrots, peeled and cut into 2 inch pieces
1 tbsp Soy sauce or tamari
1 tbsp Five Spice Powder
2 tbsp Honey
1 tsp Garlic
1/4 cup + 2 tbsp Olive oil
1 tsp Sea salt
Red pepper flakes
Chopped green onions
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 425°.
Step 2
On a large rimmed sheet pan arrange spinach and carrots and drizzle with 2 tbsp olive oil and 1 tsp sea salt.
Step 3
In a small bowl mix together soy sauce, honey, five spice powder, garlic and ¼ cup of olive oil. Place chicken in a large bowl, pour five spice marinade over and toss until coated.
Step 4
Place chicken in pan with vegetables and drizzle remaining marinade over veggies.
Step 5
Bake for 35 minutes, for crispier veggies remove chicken and roast vegetables for an additional 10 minutes.
Step 6
Top with red pepper flakes and chopped green onions.
